Frequently Asked Questions

Ordering online is the quickest and most secure way, the website encrypt's your payment card details using industry standard SSL technology to ensure your details are completely safe. No payment details are stored or written down manually, and the order is automatically sent direct to the factory, with the details input by yourself, your order can go to production the very same day !
You can order online 24 hours a day.


If I don't want to pay online what do I do?
Simply telephone us on 0800 634 7406 and we will be happy to process your order over the telephone using your sizes and options etc, we will then take payment from your payment card, or you can post a cheque to us.
A full order confirmation email we be sent to you before manufacture for you to confirm.


When are you open?
We are open in the showroom and telephone call center
Monday - Friday 09.15 to 17.00
Wednesday 09.15  to  13.00 
Some Saturday's  09.30 –11.30am.


Why don't you answer my e-mail or phone call immediately?
We try, and most of the time we do.. but as well answering the many hundreds of phone calls and emails each day, we also service the retail showroom, send samples and offer our local customers (L23) a complete measure and fit service.


I rang on Wednesday afternoon, but nobody answered the phone
We are closed on Wednesday afternoon from 1pm, for local installations and training !



Can I get a sample?
Yes; we can sample 95% of all fabrics and will provide up to 5 free of charge samples

Price

At Crosby Blinds there are no hidden extras.
All our prices include VAT and Free delivery*
For orders under £100.00 a £6.95 delivery charge is made (this is 50% of the true cost)
Each blind comes complete with installation brackets, fixings and full fitting instructions are online if not included.
You pay the price stated at time of ordering and no more.

Is it cheaper to order from us over the Internet?
Yes, If you order with us online or even over the telephone, you will make massive savings on highstreet RRP's.

Sizes
All Sizes are displayed and worked to width x drop (in that order)


Do I need to make the allowances for my blind to fit?
No- if you order 'recess' we will make all the necessary allowance deductions in size of 5-10mm so the blind hangs freely in the ' recess ' If you order 'exact' no allowances are made. Your Blind will measure what you ordered.
All blinds are made as precise as possible but an operating tolerance of +/-3mm applies
Roller Blinds and will have a fabric width of up-to 35mm narrower than the exact blind size. This is normal and to accommodate brackets and controls.


Product Specification.
Contact us for confiamtion as the product specification on all blinds can change with-out notice.
Roller Blinds over a certain size may have joins, contact us for advice or confirmation either way.
Wood Blinds
Wood samples and stock change from batch to batch.
Wood is a natural product and varies in its grain and colour, there may also be some warping this is not a fault but a characteristic and beauty of real wood.

Images shown are a guide and preciseness of colour cannot be guaranteed as this depends on the screen settings of your computer, and the quality of the scan/image. Free of charge samples are available and recommended.
All Luxaflex fabric codes used, are the same as found in the high street and JLP collection books.


Delivery
Our products are delivered direct from the manufacturer. This has many advantages for you when you choose your product:
• Products are delivered by the manufacturer’s recommended agents
• There is less product movement reducing cost and potential damage
• Product availability and range is greater in the manufacturers warehouse
• We pass on the savings in distribution and warehousing costs
• All deliveries are fully insured and a signature will be required on delivery.
• You must sign for all delivery’s as unchecked.
• We will deliver to any address within mainland UK free of charge* Channel Islands & Isle of Man deliverys at an extra cost. Contact us for a price.
As with all bespoke orders the delivery dates are estimates only, dates change daily and can go up or down, this is due to the unknown volume of orders we receive each day. We work hard to achieve the quoted times which in 90% of the time we do.

After Delivery
What do I do if I have a problem with my new blinds?

All our window blinds are rigorously quality checked before dispatch, so this is very unlikely but in
the event please e-mail us at sales@crosbyblinds.co.uk. we will promptly deal with your query without delay. We may request a photo of any damage, or collect the blind to verify this.


Cancellation & Returns
As with all bespoke goods you may only cancel your order within few hours of
order, and you will receive a refund.
A charge equal to 3% of the total order value or £20 will be made to cover credit/debit card charges and administration
Every blind is custom made to your precise requirements, once made, our products are suitable only to you, and therefore cannot be resold. Because of this it is extremely important that you are sure about the product that you want and also the size you require.
